How do you install Brick Slips?
Some of our customers feel confident about installing brick slips themselves, the process is relatively fast and simple. As with traditional brickwork, the end of the brickwork is built up first and string lines banded across to provide a straight edge for the top of the brick slips. The slips are applied to the area on a bed of flexible adhesive and then pointed up in the standard way or by using our own gun-injected lime based mortar which is available in a variety of colours. Pointing of the brick slips is finished by removing the excess mortar with a metal pointing tool or soft wire brush to give the desired finish.
We also offer a full bespoke installation service should you wish to take advantage of this. Rest assured that our installation team will look after your project from start to finish ensuring that you have complete peace of mind throughout. No matter how big or small your project may be we will be happy to help, whether that be providing a quote for a tailor made package or simply offering knowledgeable advice.
If you’re interested in getting a quote, we’ll start by asking you a few questions about your requirements. Home/site visits may be beneficial to take a look at your project and measure up, or sending us an image or two of the project area would also be beneficial. We would then spend some time discussing options and choices for your space.
