Cleaning your internal brick slip wall is simple and straight forward. This method has been used for a number of years and if done correctly, can prolong the life of your brick slip.

Before you begin, you need to make sure you have the following essential tools:

  1. The first step to cleaning your brick slip wall is to hoover and dust to make sure that you get as much of the easy to remove dust off the surface of your wall as possible.
  2. Using the easy clean bucket, you now need to mix the important homemade cleaning solution. The cleaning solution should contain even amounts of all the ingredients involved; 1 part washing up liquid to 1 part salt. Mix with water until it forms a paste consistency.
  3. Using the sponge or cloth, spread your homemade cleaning solution onto your brick slip wall. Once you have done this, use the wire brush to scrub the solution into your wall.This will make sure the solution takes the full effect and will absorb the dirt from the wall. Once you have spread and scrubbed the solution into the whole of your wall, leave it to set for 15 minutes.

You need to take extra care when cleaning painted bricks or brick style tiles. Make sure you read the instruction on the paint pot before attempting to clean the tiles, as there is a risk the paint could run. This would ruin the look of the beautiful wall you have designed and created.
